Nick Henderson, founder of Quomodo

Who we are

Meet Nick Henderson.

The operator behind Quomodo. Three and a half decades of hospitality experience, a deep curiosity for AI and technology, and a knack for cutting straight to the problem.

The story

Built from the floor up.

Nick has spent 35 years in hospitality — long enough to have lived every operational headache personally. The chaotic onboarding. The training that never quite sticks. The systems that look great in a demo and fall apart on a busy Saturday night.

That experience is what shapes Quomodo. Every solution is built with the realities of a working operation in mind, not a theoretical process map.

Today, Nick channels a deep passion for AI, technology and problem solving into practical tools that help small businesses run better — without the jargon or the over-engineering.

Born in England and now based in Melbourne with his family, he brings a global perspective and a local presence to every project.

The name

So… Quomodo?

Yes, it's a real word. No, it's not a type of dragon. (That's a Komodo — easy mistake.)

Quomodo (pronounced kwo-mo-do) is a versatile Latin word that literally translates to "in what manner" or simply "how".

It's a mash-up of quo ("what") and modo ("manner") — the ancient Romans' way of asking the most useful question in business.

Which is exactly the point. Most people know what they want to do. The hard part — the part everyone gets stuck on — is the how.

That's our whole job. We solve the how.
